Considered one of the 20th century's most original buildings. It was built by architect Konstantin Melnikov as his home and studio between 1927 and 1929 after he was granted a plot of land when he won a gold medal at the Paris World Fair in1925. The 3-storey house comprises 2 interlocking cylinders. It's in a bad state of repair: the Russian Avant-Garde Foundation is trying to save it, but its future is in doubt since the death of Melnikov's son in 2006.
